First of all, it should be remembered that the Umrah, also known as the the little pilgrimageis worship. Indeed, Allah tells us in the Koran :
"And perform the pilgrimage and the pilgrimage for Allah.'Umra." Sura 2, V. 196.

However, this does not mean that they will be exempt from doing the Hajj which is the fifth pillar of Islam, if they have not already done so.
